The internet or the online market place has become the worlds primary information source, but dont know its story?

This creation

The concept was devised by way of the Department of Defense (DOD) in the us. In the beginning it was created to make sure that officials would have a way of communication, in case of being hit by a nuclear bomb. The internet was supposed to survive the attack, as it consists of a network of interconnected computers. The concept was that providing the computers exist, that connections should exist. It was eventually called APRANET when it first were only available in 1969. Slowly but surely, the network started to develop and grow with may be users, so that that reached 550 users in 1981 and 940 users in 1984. From then on, people started to run wild with ideas of how it ought to be used and how to develop it.

Its mechanism

As mentioned before, the internet is an interconnected network of computers that exchange data. The information exchange is done through packet switching using World wide web Protocol (IP). There are lots of ways to use that packet switching, but the most popular is TCP/IP and UDP. This means Transmission Control Protocol together with User Datagram Protocol. UDP can be a lousy protocol, meaning that packets which can be lost arent resent. In contrast, the TCP resends its lost packets, making the idea more reliable, but slowly than UDP.

Messaging in the net

Emailing has become a staple of the worlds of business, education and more. An email can traverse and get stored in lots of networks and machines (coming from the sender to your recipient); making it really fast and reliable. Yet this same feature makes it possible for hackers to tamper along with it or alter it. Thus the inner email network is even more secure and heavily relied on, when it pertains to pressing protection needs. The inner network is a considerably smaller and controlled internet.

The certainty

Although we use your keywords internet and World-wide-web synonymously, each term is slightly different. The World-wide-web refers to a network of documents, such as images and files, which can be usually connected through one-way links. The documents travel the web using the HTTP and the Hyper Text Send Protocol. Web browsers have to enable hyperlinks, to make sure that users can swiftly undertake the thousands of documents posted online.
